1. About the Service

EcoLens is a free service that uses artificial intelligence to recognize recyclables and guide users on proper recycling methods.

This service is provided to raise awareness about environmental protection and resource recycling, and to help users practice proper waste sorting.

2. Usage Rules

All users of EcoLens must follow these rules:

• The service must only be used for recycling and waste sorting guidance
• Do not upload inappropriate or harmful images (violent, sexual, illegal content, etc.)
• Do not abuse or excessively use the service
• Do not interfere with other users' access to the service
• Do not attempt to bypass or disable the service's technical security measures

3. Usage Limits

To maintain service stability and ensure fair usage, the service is limited to 3 free uses per day based on your IP address (resets at midnight).

The daily usage count resets at midnight (00:00) every day. If you exceed the limit, you will not be able to use the service until the next day.

• Usage tracked by IP address
• No registration required
• Resets daily at midnight
• When exceeded, a "Please try again tomorrow" message is displayed

4. AI Analysis Accuracy

EcoLens uses state-of-the-art AI models, but due to the nature of AI technology, analysis results may not always be accurate.

Please keep the following in mind:

• AI analysis results should only be used as a reference
• For accurate recycling methods, consult local regulations and your municipal waste management office
• Recycling rules may vary by region, so please verify locally
• Recognition accuracy may vary depending on image quality, angle, and lighting

5. User Responsibility

The following are the user's responsibility when using the service:

• Content and copyright of uploaded images
• Use and consequences of information obtained through the service
• Issues caused by incorrect waste sorting (EcoLens provides reference information only)
• Data charges that may occur while using the service

6. Disclaimer

EcoLens is not responsible for:

• Issues caused by inaccurate AI analysis results
• Damages due to service interruptions, delays, or errors
• Content of images uploaded by users
• Issues caused by third-party service failures (Google AI API, etc.)
• Service interruptions due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, strikes, etc.)

However, we comply with all obligations required by applicable laws and regulations.

7. Service Changes and Interruptions

EcoLens may change or discontinue the service without prior notice due to service improvements, technical issues, or operational reasons.

We will make every effort to provide advance notice in the event of service discontinuation.

8. Privacy

EcoLens collects minimal user information. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

• Uploaded images are deleted immediately after analysis
• IP addresses are used solely for daily usage limits
• No registration required, no personal information collected

9. Changes to Terms

These terms of service may be changed due to legal amendments, service policy changes, or other reasons. Changes will be announced on the website.

Updated terms take effect 7 days after the announcement. If you do not agree with the changes, you may discontinue use of the service.
